Reuben Bruce Scott

Reuben Bruce Scott, 76, of Grantsboro passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

He is a member of New Bethlehem FWB Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reuben & Ruth Scott; brother, Daniel B. Scott; and granddaughter, Kayla Stembridge.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Alvinia Cahoon Scott; three daughters, Deborah Stembridge and husband, Larry, Antionette Oster and Danielle Scott Green and husband, Brent; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 29 ^th at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ashley Trogdon officiating. Interment will follow immediately in New Bethlehem FWB Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to New Bethlehem FWB Church Building Fund, c/o Scott Whitford, 1903 Scott Store Rd., Grantsboro, NC 28529.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Chris Taylor, Dr. Bonnie Goodwin and Dr. Suman Lamsal as well as the staff of CarolinaEast Oncology & Hematology, Carolina East Internal Medicine-Pollocksville and CCHC Pamlico Medical Center.
