Velma Harper Scott

Velma Harper Scott, 94, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at the Gardens of Pamlico.

She was a member of New Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Terry Scott of Grantsboro; one daughter, Susie S. Banks of Arapahoe; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Friday, June 22, at New Bethlehem FWB Church with the Rev. Jesse Crisp and the Rev. Graham Lane officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
