Clota Johnson Lassiter

Clota Johnson Lassiter, 98, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at Grantsbrook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was a member of Burnell Baptist Church, Four Oaks, NC.

She is survived by two sons, Marshall Lassiter of Secern and Phillip Lassiter of New Bern; two daughters, Sallie Scarboro of Smithfield and Joyce Dennis of Clayton; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, September 27, at Burnell Baptist Church in Four Oaks with the Rev. Jessie Brock officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Burnell Baptist Church, 3720 Old School Rd., Four Oaks, NC 27524.
