John Patrick Lupton
April 23, 1976 — October 1, 2012
John Patrick Lupton, 36, of Grantsboro died Monday, October 1, 2012.
He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Dianne Lupton of Grantsboro; his son, John Patrick “JP” Lupton, Jr. of the home; his daughter, Madeline “Maddy” Faye Lupton of the home; his maternal grandfather, James Mayo of Alliance: and two brothers, Brian Lupton and wife, Kacey of Bayboro and Mark Lupton and wife, Laura, of Hope Mills.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 4, at Bayboro Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Bethel FWB Church Cemetery, Whortonsville.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, October 3 at Bryant Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Bayboro Baptist Church, PO Box 276, Bayboro, NC 28515 or Bethel FWB Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Debbie Whorton, 43 Old Lupton Rd., Merritt, NC 28556.
