Carolyn Caton Riggs

Carolyn Riggs, 75, of Alliance, died Tuesday, October 2, 012.

She was a lifelong member of the Broad Creek Christian Church, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Riggs.

She is survived by four sons, Jeff Riggs and wife, Tammy of New Bern, Dale Riggs and wife, Theresa of Grantsboro, Kenny Riggs of Alliance, Will Riggs and wife, Sherry of Alliance; one daughter, Debbie L. Gaskins of Pinetops; two brothers, Mack Caton of Old Ford, Jack Caton of Bridgeton; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday at the Broad Creek Christian Church with the Rev. Eddy Gabbert officiating. Interment to follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM at Bryant Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to be made to Broad Creek Christian Church, 45 Old Olympia Rd., New Bern, NC 28560.
