Marilyn Yvonne Lewis Murphy

Marilyn Yvonne Lewis Murphy, 77, of Grantsboro died Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at home.

She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Moore and Lawana Sampson, both of Grantsboro; brother Michael Lewis of Lowland; two sisters, Mae Belle Carawan of Aurora and Vickie Paul of Alliance; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 6, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Phillip Lewis officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home, 1491 Old Bay River Rd.

In lieu of flowers the family requested memorial donations be made to Bryant Funeral Home, PO Box 99, Alliance, NC 28509.
