Rebecca Vendrick Cahoon

Rebecca “Becky” Vendrick Cahoon, 80, of Arapahoe died Sunday, October 7, 2012, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

She was a member of Bethany Christian Church and the Christian Women’s Fellowship. She was the bookkeeper for Arapahoe Volunteer Fire Department and the Minnesott Golf & Country Club. She was also a Veteran Service Officer for 30 years.

She is survived by one son, Johnny Cahoon of Arapahoe; one daughter, Carol Jean Bey of Arapahoe; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 11, at Bethany Christian Church with the Rev. Merritt Watson officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
