Barbara Tuck Dixon

Barbara Tuck Dixon,78, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at home.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert "Riley" Dixon of the home; one son, Carl Wayne "Chipmunk" Wooldridge of Merritt; one daughter, Sharon Dixon Smith of the home; one sister, Shirley Oakes of Lynchburg, Va.; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Jack Wolk officiaitng at Sandhill cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery. and at other times at the home of Callie Polaski, 12323 NC Hwy 55, Alliance.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Bryant Funeral Home, PO Box 99, Alliance, NC 28509.
