Harley D. Davis, 75, of Arapahoe died Friday, October 12, 2012, at home.

He owned and operated Davis Welding Service for over 35 years. He was a member of Rainbow Lodge #479 Arapahoe, The Sudan Temple, Pamlico County Mourners and the Pamlico County Shrine Club.

He is survived by his wife, Ann W. Davis; three sons, Dale Davis and Paul Davis, both of Arapahoe and Thomas Davis of Merritt; one daughter, Sue Ann Davis of Arapahoe; two brothers, Larry Davis of Bridgeton and Herbert Davis of New Bern; one sister, Nell Jernigan of New Bern; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 15, at Arapahoe Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Aycock officiating and masonic rites by Rainbow Lodge #479. Interment will follow immediately in Paul Cemetery, Arapahoe.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, October 14, at Bryant Funeral Home and at other times at the home, 60 Davis Rice Rd., Arapahoe.
