Tonya Denise Hardison

Tonya Denise Hardison born November 28, 1975, died unexpectantly Sunday, November 4, 2012.

She is survived by her parents, Butch and Peggy Hardison of Minnesott Beach; brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Dee Hardison of Delaware, Ohio; brother, Greg Farmer; grandparents, Charles and Bettie Gilbert of Dayton, Ohio; boyfriend, Kevin Murray of Newport; and his four children, Debra, Kristina, Kevin Jr. and Grace with whom she lived; and many aunts and uncles.

She attended school in Craven County and Winston Salem’s Reynold’s High School then moved to the Houston, Texas area where she lived until the summer of 2011. She was currently employed with Holiday Inn, Morehead City.

Tonya loved life and had excellent people skills. She could often be found crabbing or fishing in her free time.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 7, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
