Doris Gay Vinci Rice

Doris Gay Vinci Rice, 62, of Grantsboro died Thursday, November 8, 2012, at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Buddy Rice; son, Chris Rice of Hickory; daughter, Jennifer R. Fortney of Chapel Hill; sister, Kandy V. Broughton of Oriental; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 10, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David R. Brosnan and Rev. Mike Roach officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Friendship Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Trenton.

The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
