Elva Spruill Miller

Elva Spruill Miller, 86, of Oriental died Monday, November 12, 2012, at Grantsbrook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was a member of Oriental United Methodist Church, Eastern Star and Dorcas Circle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Miller and sister, Lois Broughton.

She is survived by her son, Michael “Mike” Miller and wife, Anne, of Oriental; her daughter, Pat Bradshaw and husband, George, of Rose Hill; one brother, Rodman Spruill of Charlotte; two sisters, Jean Smith of Eureka and Louise Miller of Bayboro; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 15, at Oriental United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Mosley officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
