Mary Price Powers

Mary Sue Price Powers, 56, of Grantsboro died Thursday, November 29, 2012, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband, Teddy Powers; two sons, Robert Powers of Reelsboro and James Allen Hales of Goldsboro; one daughter, Helen Michelle Futch of Goldsboro; three brothers, Herman Price, Jr. of New Bern, David Price of Princeton and John Price of New Bern; three sisters, Joyce Wachowski of Cove City, Linda Price of Newport and Rebecca Harrell of New Bern; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 2, at Paul Cemetery, Silverhill with the Rev. Rebecca Harrell officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the Grantsboro Church of God, Hwy 306 N, Grantsboro.

In lieu of flowers the family requested memorial contributions be made to Bryant Funeral Home, PO Box 99, Alliance, NC 28509.
