Elisabeth Anne Ferdinandsen

Elizabeth Anne Ferdinandsen, 75, died Thursday, December 29, 2012, at Duke Hospital.
She was a member of St. Peter's the Fisherman Catholic Church of Oriental. She was very active in the community and in the local theater.
She is survived by two sons, William Ferdinandsen of Osining, N.Y., Jon Ferdinandsen of Port Jervis, N.Y.; two daughters, Karen Martinez of Bedford, N.Y., Kristin Schroeder of Warrenton, Va.; one brother, John Ryan of New Canaan, Conn.; her partner, Don Maher of Merritt; two dogs, Skye and Murphee and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 5, at St. Peter's the Fisherman Catholic Church with the Rev. Paul Mizener officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday night at Bryant Funeral Home.
