Betty Lou Smith Swaringen

Betty Lou Smith Swaringen, 69, of Winterville, died Wednesday, January 23, 2013.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Christian Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Garrett of Greenville and Pamela Swaringen of Winterville; two brothers, Stephen Smith and William Davis Smith, both of Vanceboro; one sister, Ollie Mae Norris of Washington; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 26, at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Wingard and the Rev. Dwight Williams officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Greenleaf Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 10 to 11:00 a.m. at the church.
