Gladys Holton Cahoon

Gladys Holton Cahoon, 82, of Grantsboro died Saturday, March 30, 2013, at home.

She attended Silverhill Christian Church and was co-owner of Cahoon’s Bulldozer Service.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 2 at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rex Horne officiating. Burial will follow in the Cahoon-Dixon Cemetery in Grantsboro.

She is survived by her husband, Edwin Cahoon; two sons, Dennis Cahoon and Ashley Cahoon, both of Grantsboro; a daughter, Clara Cahoon of Grantsboro; two sisters, Lucille Purifoy of Virginia Beach, Va., and Patricia “Carol” Paul of Florence, S.C.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Bryant Funeral Home.
