Archie Council Ipock

Archie Council Ipock, 86, of Vanceboro died Friday, April 5, 2013, at home.

He was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Ipock; son, Gordon G. Ipock of Morganton; three daughters, Jeannie Ipock of Shelby, Sheilah Smith of Tampa, Fla. and Dorita Carpenter of Tucson, Arizona; two half-brothers, Robert “Bobby” Ipock and Charles Ipock, both of Ernul; sisters, Dorothy Jean Vincent of Alpine, Ala. and Janice Jones of New Bern; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family held a private memorial service, Sunday, April 7th.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to any Hospice of your choice or favorite charity.
