Sandra Jeanne Whalen Bergers

Sandra Jeanne Whalen Bergers, 54, of Oriental died Saturday, June 29, 2013, at home.

She devoted a lot of her time to the Hope Clinic and Hospice Thrift Shop in Bayboro as well as the Art Gallery in Oriental. She was previously employed with The Village Club.

She is survived by her parents, Lawrence and Carol Whalen of Oriental; and one brother, Mark L. Whalen of Fenton, Michigan.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 9, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brian Miles officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Pamlico County, 11146 NC Hwy 55, Grantsboro, NC 28529.
