Peggy Tompkins

Peggy H. Tompkins, 54, of Grantsboro died Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport.

She is survived by her husband, Carl E. Tompkins; her mother, Dolores Briggs of Bayboro; brother, David Hixson of Sabina, OH; and sisters, Wanda H. Binz of Port Orange, Fla., Brenda H. Frazier of Sabina, OH, Lisa H. Holmes of Palm Coast, Fla, and Nita Hixson of Wilmington.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 18, at Sandhill Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Fitzgerald officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday night at Bayboro Baptist Chruch and at other times at the home, 599 Hwy 306 S. Grantsboro.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Bryant Funeral Home, PO Box 99, Alliance, NC 28509.
