Marie Ross Midyette

Marie Ross Midyette, 95, of New Bern, journeyed to be with God on July 23, 2013.

She was employed in the lingerie department of Belk in New Bern for 27 years and dearly loved her customers. Marie was a member of St. Delight Free Will Baptist Church. She was an excellent seamstress and quilter and after retirement, she spent many happy hours with the ladies of the Auxiliary on quilting projects and excursions.

She is survived by her son, Randy Midyette of New Bern; her daughter, Debra Midyette of New Bern; two brothers, Raeford Ross of Vanceboro and Beverly "Bob" Ross of Huntsville, Alabama.

Graveside services will be held at Greenleaf Memorial Park Lakeside Chapel at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 26, with the Rev. Cindy Midyette officiating.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
