Ty'Mel Deon Jones

Baby Ty’mel Deon Jones, (Legend A.K.A. Lil’ D) was born on September 22, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother, Mittie Jean Hamilton, paternal great grandparents, Donald and Lucille Stokes and paternal great grandfather, Kelly Jones Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Brittney Symone’ Moore of Chocowinity and Taquan Deon Jones of Vandemere; maternal grandparents, Christa Babette Hamilton of Chocowinity and Darvelle Moore (Natasha) of Greenwood, SC; God-grandfather, Kelvin Coffey of Brooklyn, NY; paternal grandparents, Kelly Jones Jr. (Carolyn) of Vandemere; maternal great-grandparents, Marvin Hamilton of Aurora, Darryl Moore of Fort Worth, TX, and Linda Murphy (Larry) of Ayden; Aunts, Sanaia’ Moore, Sydney Moore of Greenwood, SC, Lakesha Jones of Vandemere, Courtney Jones of Fayetteville, NC, and Wanda Mourning of Aurora; Uncle, Kelly Jones III of Vandemere; three God-mothers, Christina Weathers of Aurora, Denisha Ross of New Bern and Serenna Dawson of Oriental; four God-fathers, Stewart Evans of Reelsboro, Johnnie Barber III and Julian Barber of Bayboro and Damon Roberts of Greenville and a host of relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 28, at St. Anna Missionary Baptist Church in Blounts Creek with Minister Marilyn Miller, Minister Debra Boyd and the Rev. David Moore, Jr. officiating.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the home, 1433 Gray Rd., Chocowinity.
