Chester Morgan Morris

Chester Morgan Morris, 61, of New Bern died Friday, October 18, 2013, at Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport.

He was a member of Bridgeton Pentecostal Holiness Church and served as an outstanding Sunday School Teacher. He enjoyed serving the Lord.

He is survived by his brother, Phillip Morris of Vanceboro; his sisters, Letha “Lee” Salgado of Swansboro and Esther Morris Rowe of Washington; and significant friend, Gladys Bunn of Alliance.

His service will be held Monday, October 21, at 2:00 p.m. at Bridgeton Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Kenneth Dixon officiating. Interment will follow in High Bridge Cemetery, Cayton.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Bridgeton Pentecostal Holiness Church in his memory, 943 Half Moon Rd., New Bern, NC 28560.
