Albert Ray Belangia

Albert Ray Belangia, 82, of Arapahoe, died Nov. 5, 2013, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House of Newport.

He was a member of the Arapahoe F.W.B. Church and was an ordained Baptist minister. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Scott Belangia; five sons, Michael Belangia of Arapahoe, Rodney Tripp of Oklahoma, Ken Belangia of Oriental, Steve Belangia of Elon, and Tim Belangia of Oriental; three daughters, Lynda Keller of New Bern, Bebee Pollet of Grantsboro, and Kim Bell of Arapahoe; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

His funeral will be held at noon Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at the Arapahoe FWB Church with the Rev. Gary Bryan officiating. Interment to follow in Rawls Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
