Myrtle Ruth Harris Caton

Myrtle Ruth Harris Caton, 93, of New Bern passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 at UPAC-Trent Nursing Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Caton.

She was a long time member of West New Bern Presbyterian Church. She was employed and co-owned Charles Caton Plumbing & Heating Company.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 4th at West New Bern Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Jeff Sockwell officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Greenleaf Memorial Park.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann Caton Brinson of New Bern; granddaughter, Kimberly Ann Butts and husband, Edward Charles; grandson, Robert Michael Brinson and wife, Jessica Hope, all of New Bern; three grandchildren, Corbin Edward Butts, Lyndon Charles Butts, and Hannah Elise Butts; and extended family member, Carolyn Caton.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
