Peggy Ross Bennett Potter
April 16, 1933 — February 6, 2014
Peggy Ross Bennett Potter, 80, of Arapahoe passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014, at Grantsbrook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She taught school for 24 years in Pamlico County. She was a member of Bethany Christian Church, the Order of Eastern Star Arapahoe Chapter, 236 and was active with the Arts Council.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George E. & Opal Ross Bennett, and cousins, Melinda Wall and James Marvin Jones.
She is survived by cousins, Kathy McCollum and husband, Larry, of Reidsville and their daughter, Michelle; and Teddy Jones and wife, Tina, and their daughter, Rebecca.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 8 at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Merritt Watson officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Continuum Home Care & Hospice, 1505 Glenburnie Rd., New Bern, NC 28560 or Bethany Christian Church, PO Box 156, Arapahoe, NC 28510.
