Janie Jones Ford

Janie Jones Ford, 79, of New Bern died Sunday, February 9, 2014 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

She is survived by four sons, Kenny Ford of New Bern, George Garvick of New Bern, Richard Garvick of Newport, and Craig Garvick of New Bern; one daughter, Deborah Caton of New Bern; one brother, Harvey Jones of Chattanooga, TN; six grandhchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shriner’s Childrens Hospital, 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607 or one’s favorite charity.
