Ezra Coolidge Moore

Ezra Coolidge Moore, 88, of Cove City died Monday, March 3, 2014, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

He was the oldest male member of Wintergreen Original Free Will Baptist Church where he served as a trustee. He was also a member of Woodmen of the World and was a retired farmer.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Iris K. Moore; two sons, Walter “Buzzy” Moore & wife, Connie, of Cove City and Jimi Moore and wife, Nell, of Knoxville, Tennessee; two daughters, Brenda Rhem and husband, Eugene, of Dover and Marsha Demoret and husband, John, of Cove City; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

His funeral will be held at noon on Thursday, March 6 at Wintergreen Original Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Neal Cox and the Rev. Ashley Trogdon officiating. Interment will follow immediately in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
