Beverly Joan Kennedy Schneider

Beverly Joan Schneider passed away March 5, 2014 at the age of 87.

Beverly had lived in New Bern since 2004. She was so taken with New Bern after visiting for a granddaughters graduation that she returned to Florida and within 6 weeks was residing here for good.

Bev was a wonderful mother, wife, gourmet cook and gardener. She was always generous with her friends and family. Originally from Chicago, Ill where she and her Husband Robert met and were married for 49 years prior to his death in 1996.

She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Prewitt and husband, Dr. Vance Prewitt of Laurel, DE. and daughter Mary Kevin Bush and husband, W. Kenyon Bush of New Bern. She has 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
