Frederick Joseph Mahlstedt, 80, of Oriental died Friday, July 18, 2014, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Mahlstedt; son, Brian Mahlstedt of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania; three daughters, Patti Bohnenblusch of Willow Springs, Sharon Minicozzi of Huntersville and Joy Gorman of Fuquay Varina; eight grandchildren, Brian Mahlstedt Jr., Ashley Mahlstedt, Ryan Minicozzi, Samantha Minicozzi, Keith Gorman, Kevin Gorman, Casey Bohnenblusch and Carly Bohnenblusch; and one great-granddaughter, Kennedy Sky Badger.
