Christopher Michael Griffin

Christopher Michael Griffin, 29, of Arapahoe died Saturday, July 26, 2014, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

He attended Alliance United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his parents, Alton & Natalie Griffin of the home; one son, Devin Troy Griffin of Washington; four brothers, Alton E. Griffin III and wife, Whitney, of Vinton, Va., Jeremy H. Griffin, Richard M. Griffin and Johnathon D. Griffin, all of Arapahoe; paternal grandmother, Lynda Griffin of Arapahoe; maternal grandmother, Ory Day of Fayetteville; paternal great-grandmother, Alberta Hodges of Arapahoe; second mother, Darlene Day of Fayetteville; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 31 at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Penny Dollar Farmer officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Kinston the same day.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Bryant Funeral Home and other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Pamlico County Fishes and Loaves (PCFLO), PO Box 771, Oriental, NC 28571.
