Helen Gatlin Whorton

Helen Gatlin Whorton, 70, of Bayboro, passed away, Monday, August 4, 2014 at Carolina East Medical Center.
She was a member of Stonewall United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by husband, Gary Whorton and daughter, Annette D. Whorton.
She is survived by 3 sons, Kenneth Evan Whorton and wife, Kimberly of Bayboro, Todd Carlton Whorton and wife, Jennie of Merritt, Mark Andrew Whorton of Bayboro; 1 daughter, Haley W. Hill of Grantsboro; 6 grandchildren, Christian McCotter, Travis Whorton, Lacy Whorton Garret Whorton, Alyssa & Marley Whorton and 1 Great grandchild, Kayden Hancock.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 7, at the Stonewall United Methodist Church with the Rev, Jonathan Gainey officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Memorial Gardens, Florence.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
