William Norman Herwig
June 7, 1925 — August 11, 2014
William Norman Herwig, 89, of Aurora died Monday, August 11, 2014, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.
He retired from PCS Phosphate after 31 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Maxine Herwig; two daughters, Linda Potter and husband, Curtis, and Wanda Hardy, and husband, A.B., Jr., all of Aurora; brother, John D. Herwig of Huntington, TX; six grandchildren, Brian Potter (Holly), Brad Potter (Sandy), Jamie Overton (Sandy Woolard), Trey Overton (Erica), Christie Hardy, and Lori Roberson (Brandon); and 10 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Wednesday night at Bryant Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to one’s favorite charity.
