Mary Alice Spencer Cooke

Alice Spencer Cooke, 93, of Elizabeth City died Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at Waterbrook Assisted Living, Elizabeth City.

She was a member of New Life Assembly of God Church in Elizabeth City.
She is survived by five daughters, Alice Lucille Daugherty of Norfolk, Va., Paula Ann Dail of Ayden, Joyce Evans of Hertford, Maxine Wall of Williston, and Vickie Wellnitz of Montivedio, Minnesota; one sister, Evy Lee Foreman of Hubert; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great & great-great grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held 2 p.m., Monday, August 18 at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow immediately in Celestial Memorial Gardens, Cash Corner.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
