Martha Louise Wood

Martha Louise Stell Wood, 74, of Grantsboro died Monday, August 25, 2014, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

She worked as a home health care nurse and enjoyed fishing during her time off.

She is survived by one son, Jeff Honeycutt and wife, Wendy, of Bridgeton; two daughters, Annette Wendy Clay and husband, John, of New Bern and Patricia Gayle Ludwick and husband, Terry, of Aurora; four grandchildren, Chris Hancock and wife, Morgan, of Wilmington, Jason Ireland of New Bern, Colby Harding of Greenville and Catie Ludwick of Baltimore; and two great-grandchildren, Julieana Harding and Janay Harding.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Dublin Grove FWB Church with the Rev. Earl Sadler Jr. officiating.

The family will receive friends and relatives immediately following the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Pamlico Co. Rescue Squad, PO Box 302, Bayboro, NC 28515.
