Edward "Pee-Wee" Horace Jackson

Edward “Pee-Wee” Horace Jackson, 88, of New Bern passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at home.

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the New Bern Shrine Club, Sudan Temple & St. John’s Masonic Lodge #3. He owned and operated New Bern Furniture.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah McDaniel Jackson.

He is survived by his two sons, Billy E. Jackson and Jerry G. Jackson & wife, Jeanne, all of New Bern; five grandchildren, Jesse Jackson, Crystal Jackson, Eddie Jackson & wife, Emily, Christopher Jackson and Nancy Ayers; and nine great-grandchildren.

His memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 26th at Bryant Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607 or one’s favorite charity.
