Dorthea "Doris" Antoneia Bischoff

Oriental – Dorthea “Doris” Antoneia Bischoff, 69, of Oriental passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014.

She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Church where she was a member of the church choir. She was a member of SCOO (Sailing Club of Oriental), a part of SHAW Ministry, enjoyed the card game MahJongg and an avid gardner.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, John Bischoff; five daughters, Linda Stiene, Barbara Eckner, Victoria Toth, Cynthia Kolp, & Erica McGovern; two brothers, two sisters; and seven grandchildren.

Her memorial service will be held 4 p.m., Friday, September 26, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Father Tom Tilley officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Bryant Funeral Home.
