Kevin Sanders Whorton

Kevin Sanders “Catfish” Whorton, 57, of Florence passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Duke Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen George “S.G.” Whorton, brother, Gary Whorton and sister-in-law, Helen Whorton.

He is survived by his mother, Wilma Whorton of Florence; and brother, Larry Whorton and wife, Mary Helen “Duck” Whorton, of Arapahoe.

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 27 at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Robert Cayton officiating. Interment will follow in Concord Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
