Edith Emery Mills

Edith Emery Mills, 91, of Oriental passed away Friday, October 3, 2014, at The Gardens of Pamlico.

She was a member of Oriental First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Steve Emery & Della Pittman Emery and her husband, Frank Mills.

She is survived by her son, Frank Mills III and wife, Elizabeth, of Raleigh; her daughter, Gloria Tyndall and husband, Glenwood, of Oriental; sister, Pearl Carey and husband, Louie, of New Bern; and three grandchildren, Tracy Bennett, Jonathan Mills and Lauren Fye and husband, Gary.

Her funeral will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 7th at Oriental First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Harper officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Oriental Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
