Betty Simpson Stone

Betty Simpson Stone, 96, of Grantsboro passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at Grantsbrook Nursing & Rehab Center.
She was a member of Oriental First Baptist Church and the Oriental Women’s Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Valassis and husband, John, of Oriental; her sister, Alice Hattley of Arizona; and one granddaughter, Zoi Valassis.
Her memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on November 14, 2014 at Oriental First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Harper officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
