Willie Samuel Tyndall, Sr.

Willie Samuel Tyndall Sr., 83, of Alliance passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Grantsbrook Nursing & Rehab Center.

He attended Faith Christian Assembly of God and was an avid hunter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joann Lee Tyndall and great-grandson, Abel Thomas Schofell.

He is survived by two sons, Willie Tyndall Jr. and wife, Brenda, and Mark Tyndall and wife, Jammie, all of Alliance; two daughters, Kathy Tyndall of Alliance and Connie Hallman and husband, Todd Hallman (U.S. Army Ret.) of Hope Mills; one brother, Myron Tyndall and wife, Myrtice, of Alliance; 15 grandchildren, Jamie Schofell, Jenny Schofell, Jeffery Schofell Jr., U.S. Navy Corpsman Ryan Tyndall, Cory Tyndall, U.S. Army Specialist Shane Tyndall, Joseph Avery, David Johnston Jr., Kasey Tyndall, Mark Smithwick, Ben Smithwick, Joanna Smithwick, William Hallman, Chase Hallman and Jaana Hallman; and six great-grandchildren, Mariah Stowe, Alex Williamson, Matt Williamson, Kamden Schofell, Makenna Smithwick and Olivia Tyndall.

His funeral will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 5th at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Hardison officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Paul Cemetery, Silver Hill.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
