Pearl Brinson Simpson

Pearl Brinson Simpson, 94, of Arapahoe passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

She was a member of Arapahoe Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Simpson and her son, Franklin “Fig” Simpson.

She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Simpson of Pace, Fla., Danny Simpson of Crestview, Fla., and Grady Simpson of Grantsboro; one daughter, Margaret Patterson of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Sanford and Davie Brinson, both of Wilmington; one sister, Goldia Coward of Swansboro; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 20th at Sandhill Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Bulla and the Rev. Gary Bryan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
