Jeffrey Lynn Daniels

Jeffrey Lynn Daniels, 75, of South Creek, died Monday, December 1, 2014, at Vidant Medical Center, Washington.

He attended Dublin Grove Free Will Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea. He retired from Station #12 Norfolk Fire Department and on his day off served as an U.S. Marshal.

He is survived by his wife of 51 ½ years, Sandra Gaskins Daniels; son, Lt. Col William Jeffrey Daniels and wife, Lydia, of Fort Knox, Kentucky; daughters, Jane Lynette Daniels of St. Augustine, Fla. and Adrienne Leigh Daniels of South Creek; three brothers, Ashley Daniels of South Creek, Henry Daniels of Belhaven, and Kirby Daniels of Trenton; three sisters, Mavis Powers, Darnell Smith, and Bertie Arnhols, all of South Creek; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and beloved companion, “Missy”.

His memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 4th at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Sadler Jr. officiating and military honors.
