Faye Banks Dixon

March 20, 1940 — December 4, 2014

Faye Banks Dixon, 74, of the Goose Creek Community, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

She was a member of Goose Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church. She worked her entire adult life in the cafeterias at Pamlico County Schools and Camp Seafarer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Dixon; sons, Michael Dixon and Jeff Dixon; brother, Wayne Banks; and sister, Diane Whitfield.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathyrn Marie of Goose Creek; granddaughter, Michelle Spencer of Raleigh; brother, Charles Banks and wife, Maxine, of Stonewall; sister-in-laws, Julie Banks and Thelma Dixon, both of Goose Creek; brother-in-law, Tony Whitfield also of Goose Creek; and she is also survived by her many co-workers, members of the church congregation and children of Goose Creek to whom she loved just as her family.

Her memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 7th at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cindy Midyette officiating.

Those wishing to speak with the family may do so one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
