Robert William Nobles

Robert William Nobles, 75, of Bridgeton died Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at his home with family by his side.

Robert was born April 19, 1939 in Pamlico County to Coley & Julia Nobles.

Robert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Myrtle T. Nobles; sons, David Nobles of New Bern, Donald Nobles and wife, Jill, of New Bern and Billy Nobles and wife, Logan, of Atlanta, GA; daughter-in-law, Sheila Nobles of New Bern; eight grandchildren, Karianne, Jonathan, Justin, Jacob, Paige, Devan, Courtney, and Madison; two great-grandchildren, Sidney and Saxon; and brother, James Nobles of Grantsboro.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Friday, January 2, 2015, at Bryant Funeral Home.

His funeral will be held Friday evening at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Kenneth Dixon and the Rev. Dwayne Boyd officiating. Private burial will be held at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Craven County Hospice, PO Drawer 12610, New Bern, NC 28561.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at CarolinaEast Medical Center Neuropathy Dept. as well as Craven County Hospice for their kindness and care given during this difficult time.
