David Paul Mckeon Sr.

David Paul McKeon Sr., 72, of New Bern died Saturday, January 3, 2015, in New Bern.

He served in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam. He was a member of the James City V.F.W. and the Moose Lodge in Sutton, West Virginia.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret “Gran” McKeon; sons, David McKeon Jr. and Jimmy Williams, both of New Bern; daughter, Sandy Hoogendorn of Swansboro; three brothers, Tim McKeon and Bill McKeon, both of New Bern and Dana McKeon of Massachusetts; two sisters, Mary Ann O’Neal and Carol Couture, both of Massachusetts; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren.

His memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 7th at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Garlton George officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
