Shirley Ann Moore

Shirley Ann Moore, 70, of Reelsboro passed away January 5, 2015, at SECU Hospice House, Smithfield.

She was a member of Silver Hill Christian Church. She retired from Carolina Telephone after 37 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother “Nana”.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jimmy Moore of Reelsboro; daughter, Shawn Eatman and husband, Anthony, of Clayton; three brothers, James Moore of California, Bill Moore of Asheville and Rusty Moore of Grantsboro; three sisters, Joyce Palmer and Edith Littleton, both of New Bern, and Ella Mallard; and two grandchildren, Josh Allen Eatman and Jake Eatman.

Her funeral will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 9th at Silver Hill Christian Church with the Rev. Rex Horne officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Paul Cemetery, Silver Hill.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
