Isla Lee Bennett

Isla Lee Bennett, 102, of Reelsboro went home to be with her Lord & Savior, Sunday, January 11, 2015.

She was a member of New Hope Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milford Rex Bennett Sr. and daughter, Margaret Bennett Toler.

A beloved mother, grandmother and granny, she is survived by her sons, Milford Rex Bennett Jr. and wife, Betty, Ray Wheeler Bennett and wife, Carolyn, and Ken Maynard Bennett and wife, Juanita, all of Reelsboro; daughter, Mildred Bennett Green and husband, Jim, of New Bern; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; two nieces and three nephews.

Her funeral will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 14th at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Roach and the Rev. Seth Jones officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Sandhill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Bryant Funeral Home.
