Beloved wife of Michael Mispagel. Devoted mother of Marc Zaller and Loretta Lennon of Sandwich, MA, Jeffrey Zaller and Kimberly Hunt of New Bedford, MA, and Elizabeth Raz of Corrales, N.M. Cherished sister of Stan Cole and Susan Cole. Daughter of the late Louis and Meriam (Mandel) Cole. Loving grandmother of Aaron and Elisa Nunes-Zaller, Oren and Nicole Raz, Lindsey Adams, Sonny and Amanda Zaller and Emily and Benjamin Hunt. Dear former mother-in-law of Aurora Nunes.

Alene and her husband, Mike sailed around the world for 25 years on their home built boat, Nin. They settled and built a home by the Neuse River in 2008.
