Mae Bell Lewis Carawan

Mae Bell Lewis Carawan, 89, of Aurora died Friday, March 6, 2015, at home.

She was instrumental in starting Lowland Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was a charter member. She was an official member of Dublin Grove OFWB Church and attended Wardens Grove OFWB Church.

She is survived by three sons, Paul J. Carawan of Gastonia; John R. Carawan and Daniel M. Carawan, both of Aurora; one daughter, Pamela Harrell of Aurora; brother, Michael Lewis of Lowland; sister, Vicky Paul of Alliance; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 10th at Wardens Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Sadler Jr. and the Rev. Aubrey Speer officiating. Interment will follow immediately in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
