Louise Spruill Miller

Louise Spruill Miller, 90, of Bayboro, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

She was a member of Oriental United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Order of Eastern Star OEA 189 for 67 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferny Miller, her son, Jesse Miller, a brother, Rodman Spruill; a twin sister, Lois Broughton and sister, Elva Miller

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Lee Miller and wife, Janie, of Bayboro; daughters, Mary Phelps of Bridgeton and Betty Jo Miller of Stonewall; daughter-in-law, Cindy Miller of Stonewall; sister, Jean Smith of Eureka; six grandchildren, Tracy Cheatham (Rick), Shirley Barnes, Katherine Miller, James Phelps, William Phelps, and Kyle Phelps; and six great grandchildren, Miller Cheatham, Madelyn Cheatham, Dale Barnes, Hudson Barnes, Nicholas Barnes and Caleb Cowen and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 15th at Oriental United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Moseley and the Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Oriental Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
